Have an ICE day! Competition Entry

This is my entry for the challenge over on http://craftcreatoins.blogspot.co.uk blog, the challenge is sponsored by Joanna Sheen and Sheila has provided a sketch of the template to follow.

I matt a striped backing paper from DCWV The Spring Fling Summer Days Combo Stack onto a scallop edged white card blank and added red holographic border peel-offs.  I then matt a panel of ice lolly paper from the same stack onto blue card.  I coloured a digi stamp called Justin's Ice Cream using Pro Markers http://digitalpenciltoo.com/index.php/View-all-products-in-shop.html and matt and layered this onto blue card, silver holographic card, blue dotty paper then blue card.  I added an ice cream cone button embellishment and square holographic gems.  I added a couple of silver chain corner peel-offs.  I did the tag in microsoft word and added pale blue satin ribbon.

Cards using Joanna Sheen's Products

joanna sheen house mouse flower power decoupage

I just adore House Mouse, I made this easel card using the white template from MCS's encyclopaedia, I was able to put the backing paper, from Joanna Sheen's House Mouse Inserts CD Rom into MCS so it showed through the white template.

The decoupage is from Joanna Sheen's House Mouse 'Flower Power' pack, I made up the decoupage and added the bird seed and flowers using Pinflair glue gel.

This is from House Mouse Home & Garden decoupage pack, I the backing paper is glittered tissue paper, I added a bow and mulberry flowers.

This poor pup doesn't look amused at being pampered by the mice, the border was made with a Martha Stewart punch onto blue mirror card, the backing paper is from Joanna's House Mouse Inserts CD Rom.

Some Cards from the La Pashe Flippin Range

"La Pashe Flippin Women Decoupage Flippin Relaxing"

Using a Flippin card blank I was able to make my own with an A2 sheet of blue pearlised card.

I made my own card with aperture and added a lovely brick wall backing paper, this image never fails to bring a smile to the recipient's face.

I made the aperture card for this using 2 x A3 sheets of card, the inner part hides the join.

More cards made with Debbi Moore's CDs.  This is a shaped card, I added lots of tiny gems to the dress and jewellery and also glitter.

This card was A4 sized so I made a nice matching box.

Here are a few more cards that I have made using Debbi Moore's Products

This was made using papers from a 2010 craft magazine, I added lots of red circular and gold heart shaped gems to the tree, flat pearls down the border and a purple xmas text ribbon and bow.

This is an Xmas Card I made for my sister, she loves scented candles so I filled the box inside with scented tea lights.
I made a pocket on the inside for a tag to slip into, added pretty pink ribbon, peel-offs and craft candi.
There are lots of lovely boxes on the CD rom that I used so I was able to make a pretty box for the card to be sent in.

Debbi Moore's Galaxy CD Rom

debbi moore art deco galaxy cd rom handmade card

I wanted to make a card with the 'wow' factor for my niece's 18th birthday, unfortunately I couldn't find my Galaxy board at the time of making this card, however it came out really well anyway.  The images are from Debbi Moore's Art Deco Galaxy CD Rom.  I used Crafter's Companion Spray & Sparkle gold on the circular toppers, added lots of turquoise glitter to the dresses, gloves & feather details.
