House Mouse Xmas Card.

Backing paper is from a House Mouse Backing Paper pack, topper is from the Christmas CD of the House Mouse Triple CD set by Joanna Sheen.  Layered onto red glitter card and finished with red ribbon and a gem.  The star is from the Christmas Ornaments section, text added using a graphics programme.

I made this card using a Rocker Card from Crafters Companion's Christmas with Barkley CD rom.
The decoupage topper is from a Mega 3D decoupage pad sold by Pinflair.

This card features a sheet of pyramage and tags etc from the mega 3D 100 decoupage pad sold by Pinflair, the backing paper is by Ideal World.

MAKEY BAKEY CHRISTMAS CARD

This card features a topper printed from the Makey Bakey Christmas CD by Crafters Companion, the Christmas Tree doily is also from the CD.  Other elements including the backing paper and handmade embellishments are from a download.

TATTERED LACE BOOT

I haven't updated my blog lately so I'm putting some of the Xmas cards I've made.
This card features the Tattered Lace Boot die, a flourish die, 'Ho Ho Ho' peel-offs, Merry Christmas rubber stamp and fancy letter peel-offs.  Finished off with some gems.

18th BIRTHDAY CARD

I was asked to make a card for an 18th Birthday, knowing that the recipient is training to be a hairdresser and has pet dogs, I thought this image was very appropriate.

I have added an array of paper flowers so this card really has dimension and is presented in a white box.

This is the inside of the card, it has an aperture with a die cut key dangler, I added a sentiment on one panel and a verse peel-off on the other panel.  The '18' on the key has lots of gems on it.

I wanted this card to be luxurious so I made it with two pages of inserts and added a matching tag and insert with wording.

HORSES 8X8 BIRTHDAY CARD

I was asked to make a card for an elderly lady who loves horses, this is what I come up with, the horses are all decoupaged for a 3D effect and I've added a horse charm to the ribbon.  Image is from Joanna Sheen's Nostalgia CD Rom (retired).

WORD BOOK (SIXTIETH BIRTHDAY CARD)

I was asked to make a card for a 60th birthday and come up with the idea of making a Word Book.
The recipient is a keen reader, loves her Kindle (reading and playing Angry Birds), she's a Chelsea fan and she loves old beer bottles.  She's also a smoker so I added a cheeky fag lol.
I finished it off with a bottle top with '60' on, a couple of fabric butterflies, ribbon bow and a butterfly charm.

I.O.W. ZOO TOMBOLA

I am donating a few handmade items for the Tombola being run by my friend, Pauline Marshall and her daughter, Debbie North, over Easter at the Isle of Wight Zoo.  Here are a couple of cards I have made, I shall be adding other items in the near future.  I wish Pauline and Debbie every success with the Tombola as it's for a cause very very close to my heart.

TEDDY BEAR CROSS STITCHED ONTO A BABY GROW.

Before card making I loved counted cross stitch, unfortunately I can no longer do this lovely craft, however, here's a photo of a Teddy Bear that I stitched onto a baby grow, I added the lovely baby's name too.

ROSE GROTTO CARD - SHEILA'S CHALLENGE

After making several Grotto cards from Debbi Moore's Garden Fairies Grotto Cards CD Rom, I received an order for a Grotto Card for a 21st birthday.  I decided on the Rose Fairy to match the rose tea light I put inside.  I also made a matching box.
